My Story

Dog Training                         &                         Photography

My training journey began in 2013 when I joined an obedience club, placing top of the class with my Siberian Husky, before going on to earn Rally and Canine Good Citizen titles together.

I continued training and mentoring under skilled trainers with a vast spectrum of training ideologies, learning something from every interaction before branching out and independently taking on clients.

I worked professionally as an Explosives Detection K9 handler, holding a TSA 3PK9 Certification, receiving extensive training on a variety of aspects of detection, and working a variety of venues in real-world searches.

I have also been an active volunteer in a number of helper positions for different AKC dog sports, and competed with my dogs in obedience, rally, conformation, and fastCATs.

Continuing education:

- Reading research articles and books on training and behavior

- Taking classes on animal behavior

- Attending seminars on aggression, obedience, nosework and detection, and more!

Intrinsically linked to my love of animals, I started photography around the same time as dog training.

Always passionate about art and creation, photography proved the perfect outlet to bring my visions to life in a way that traditional and digital media never quite satisfied.

With one of my first photographs of my Siberian Husky, taken on an old borrowed camera, I was HOOKED.

Since then, I have created countless memories and even donated time to shelters and rescues to help provide better images to get pets adopted.

Today, I create memories through animal & fantasy photo sessions:
capturing the human-animal bond
&
the wild dreams within each of us
